Ariel leaves tomorrow for a 750-some-mile solo bicycle ride for eight days from Fairbanks to Haines and then takes the ferry to Juneau to see David & Sandra & Jenni & Jacques. She may ride back part way with her cousin and her cousin's fiance before they drop her off at the fork to Anchorage. Chris is gone for a month of training before being deployed.
Jackson's film is premiering Tuesday, July 8 in Albuquerque.
There's another photoshow here of some recent pics. First, pictures from our recent hike with the boys. About a mile on the La Luz trail up the mountain, there's a fork and a shady spot to stop. The boys had "chocolate-milk-in-a-box" there before we headed back to the trailhead. A few more pictures with the cousins at the aquarium follows, and then the gang poses at the branch of our athletic club near the foothills. (We usually go to the giant one near our house, but this one has a really nice pool. Jack took lessons on these tennis courts.) Okay, click on the trailhead photo to start the photoshow.
