Happy 3d Birthday, Rylee

Today Rylee is three. He's been looking forward to this day. Jackson has been equally excited. Jackson stayed awake last night so that he could decorate downstairs for the morning. Rylee followed a trail of balloons downstairs, and Cyndi had a cupcake lit with candles so we could all sing happy birthday to Ry. He was so excited. He opened a few gifts that Jack picked out.

The birthday theme Ry finally picked was baseball. Ry found the team equipment bag in the garage and began pulling out batting helmets and the catcher's helmet. He would wear them around the house, even to bed if we'd let him, along with his glove, balls, "the dangerous bat", batter's gloves, and Jack's cleats. (Remind me to tell you a story about Jack's last game this year. He wanted to try catching. First pitch from the machine, straight to his cup.) I don't see how we can wait two more years before Ry plays T Ball. He's ready now.

I think there's a water park birthday event planned for today with some cousins and friends, and later we will travel to Belen for a family party. (It's Kristina's birthday, too.)
