Cinco de Cinco

Cyndi celebrated her birthday yesterday with friends and family at the house. Jackson made a special card for her and decorated the house. There was lots to eat--queso, chips, quacamole, tacos, enchiladas, beans, watermelon, salad, tortillas, and, of course, a delicious chantilly cake for the fabulous, never to be underestimated, birthday girl. I made two pitchers of Margaritas.

We spent Sunday working in the yard. Before, we walked to breakfast. Later, Cyndi and I saw Miss Pettigrew, while Jordan babysat the boys. Baseball on Saturday, after another round of haircuts for me and the boys. That was a good experience. The boys were angels, and we went early enough in the day. One by one, we got a chair. The ladies were nice and took a lot of time with the boys. Jackson was smiling at Rylee in the mirror, and Rylee was smiling at himself, pleased as punch. I told them how handsome they looked, and they were quite adorable. I'll pass on another set of pictures of that. Afterward, we got Cyndi some lavender for the garden bed.

We saw on the internet that Jack's little film won an award that will send it packing for a screening in Hollywood early next month. We were excited to hear that. Everyone seems to get a big kick out of it.
